Hello,
Do you have a digital product idea, an opportunity at hand, or hypotheses to solve problems but don't know where to start or how to innovate? Are you unsure how to bring that idea to life or which direction to focus your efforts?

In a collaborative 5-day workshop, I apply techniques tailored to each client's needs and guide the project team to find these answers.

I help organizations launch new products to market faster, enabling them to validate ideas, prioritize resources, and iterate more swiftly.
Agile Concept in Product Development
Currently, having a solid strategy and meticulous research is not a guarantee of long-term success. Planning and forecasting are accurate only when based on a long and stable operational history in a relatively static environment. Given the speed at which we evolve, we don't have time to dedicate to very long research and experimentation cycles, as the majority of current scenarios involve rapid changes and significant uncertainty.
The concept of Agile proposes an iterative and incremental approach that prioritizes flexibility and quick response to changes. With this concept, we evolve through short development cycles, adjust direction, and improve strategy by adapting to market needs and technological innovations. In short, "fail fast and learn fast, spend less time and resources in this process."
Fundamental Methodologies
There are several methodologies and approaches for proposing hypotheses and validating ideas in an agile manner. In this consultancy, I primarily use two main models.
Lean Startup
A methodology centered on the "build, measure, learn" feedback cycle. This continuous process allows for rapid validation of hypotheses, reducing risk and adjusting course as needed.

Design Thinking
A creative process that promotes innovation through the divergence and convergence of ideas, exploring multiple possible solutions, and then focusing on the best ideas to solve identified problems.

Design Sprint e Lean Inception
The two models mentioned above lead to two more books, Design Sprint and Lean Inception, which provide tools that I use to guide the group in defining the scope of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) or a feature for the evolution of an existing product.
10,1%
It's the average percentage of people who cited Product Discovery as a skill they aim to develop in 2 years.
Specifically, 9.1% for PMs, 5.6% for Leaders, and 15.3% for APMs and Analysts.
31,7%
Product Growth 15.8%, Discovery 10%, and Alignments 5.9% represent 31.7% of the challenges faced in the day-to-day of product professionals cited in the field.
30%
of PMs and Product Leaders indicated that most of their time is allocated to conducting Alignments, organizing the Roadmap, and refining the Product Vision in their day-to-day responsibilities.

The consultancy is applied during the Discovery phase.
The product discovery or "Discovery" is a process that identifies what will be built. It's the phase where you define objectives, filter ideas, and identify potential risks during the implementation or delivery phase. This is when we apply workshops.

5-day workshop
"Five days is too long, we have other things to do!" Following a traditional model, based on user and stakeholder interviews, research, requirements gathering, a discovery phase can take on average 30 to 90 days before evaluating whether to proceed with development.
After the workshop, the team will have enough inputs to "get to work," meaning they can create user stories, test scenarios, high-fidelity prototypes, prepare and model the database, allocate DevOps and infrastructure resources, design and structure the system architecture, code, create a marketing plan, among all other necessary steps. The faster (without compromising quality) the Discovery is completed, the better.

Tools and methods are chosen according to each client's objective.
We have a variety of tools and methods that are organized and applied according to each client's needs, and they can be quite diverse and change depending on the situation. However, each method always seeks to actively involve stakeholders and the project team. The premise is that methods should always be practical, promote good documentation, encourage agile teamwork, and ultimately contribute to successful delivery.

What will we have in the end

Validation of Ideas
The main objective is to validate whether it makes sense to persevere and proceed with the idea, pivot and adjust certain aspects, or cancel the initiative and focus efforts on another idea.

Scope Definition
We identify the essential functionalities for the first version of the product or feature that deliver the proposed value with minimal development effort.

Clarity and Alignment
We involve key project participants to bring clarity about the idea, the problem it solves, opportunities we can leverage, and the challenges we will encounter during development.
What we won't have in the end

High-Fidelity Prototypes

User Stories

Developed Code

Database Modeling

Definition of stack or architectural framework

Comprehensive Technical Documentation

Marketing Plan

Product Launch Plan

Risk and Cost Reduction
Bringing greater clarity to all stakeholders increases the likelihood of developing exactly what is needed, minimizing risks and costs.

Reduction of Time to Market
We eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Being the first to launch a new service, product, or feature in the market will give your organization a competitive advantage. Reducing TTM means your organization will start generating revenue sooner.
In terms of product development, each new feature introduced should generate revenue or result in cost savings, positively impacting the bottom line.

Discovery
We will have enough content for the project kick-off. At this point, the team will be fully engaged because they have participated in the product planning and will enter the execution phase motivated and committed.

Pitch
In the end, we will have inputs such as an ordered backlog and product sketches, which can be used to present the idea to investors, business partners, or customers.
